A quiet day in rural Japan.
In this video, I visit the Kyushu Flea Market—one of the largest antique and vintage markets in Kyushu, held in a spacious country park in Kumamoto. From unique vintage finds to handmade crafts and local food stalls, let’s take a gentle stroll and explore the country atmosphere together.
After the walk, I enjoy a simple onigiri lunch made with Kumamoto’s classic furikake, "Gohan no Tomo," wrapped in crispy nori.
Later, back in my rural Japanese garden, spring is slowly unfolding. Clematis vines are growing, blueberries are beginning to form, and new seeds are sprouting. I spend a peaceful afternoon dividing hostas, planting, and caring for my natural garden.
A calm and unhurried day in the countryside of Japan.
