Spring in ARASHIYAMA| 嵐山の春| Recommended Route| Kyoto, Japan

Arashiyama (嵐山), located in the western part of Kyoto, is definitely a must-see place in Kyoto and in Kansai area for that matter. While it's well-visited all year round, it certainly gets the most tourist traffic in spring and in fall. This time I went at the height of the cherry blossom season. For this route, I recommend starting at the Randen Tram (Keifuku not Kintetsu) station where you can enjoy the colorful Kimono Forest and do a clockwise route before circling back to the station.
