Waterloo Central Railway 2026

The Waterloo Central Railway in Ontario, Canada retuned their 0-6-0 steam locomotive to operation in the summer of 2026. For the Thanksgiving weekend, #9 was scheduled to pull three trips on Saturday October 10, 2026. The trips are more than just an out and back operation. The train stops at 4 different stations along the over 6 mile line allowing passengers to hop and off throughout the day. While #9 was designed for switching duties, for this day she was pulling passenger trains and (attempting) to follow a time table!
