Kolkata To Konark Family Trip by Car

#kolkatatokonark, #roadtrip, #odishabycar, #odisha, #konark, #sudurerpiyasi This 511 km road trip from Kolkata (Barasat) to Konark (Odisha) was different for us not just because we shifted from 2 wheeler to 4 wheeler, also because this time our mother accompanied us. Road conditions in Odisha has always been up to the mark without an exception this time. Even after multiple stops and breaks we could easily reach Konark within 11 hours. Unlike our usual practice this time we booked rooms in Konark OTDC (a beautiful property with all facilities) in advance by paying a visit to OTDC office in Kolkata (Subodh Mullick Square). The plan for the evening was to experience the Light & Sound. But unfortunately, seats for this show are very limited and gets filled up quite fast. So we missed the show. Next day we will visit the Konark Temple and will start for Rambha.
