EUB&B Platform webinar - EU priorities for CBD COP17 and key discussions on the Cali Fund

The seventeenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP17), taking place from 19 to 30 October 2026 in Armenia, will be a be a key moment in biodiversity policy internationally. As preparations accelerate, the European Business & Biodiversity Platform hosted a webinar on Tuesday 6 October exploring the European Union's priorities for the upcoming COP17 negotiations and discussing key developments related to Digital Sequence Information (DSI) and the Cali Fund. The session brought together experts from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV) and provided 60+ participants with an opportunity to better understand the policy context leading up to COP17.
