This is What Interior Design Looks Like When You Have Limited Space

As an interior designer, I believe you should never have to sacrifice aesthetic for function when designing your dream home. I designed this home to be beautiful and functional for a family of 3 and their beloved family dog. This is a full gut renovation in Toronto. For phase 1, we focused on the kitchen and powder room. The kitchen needed storage that works as hard as this family does. We added a breakfast nook and built in enough storage for the space to double as a mud room. Then we let the stone take over. A dramatic quartzite in amber, ochre, slate, and deep green runs across the counters and climbs the full height of the backsplash until it becomes the whole story. Pale rift oak keeps it grounded. Sculptural bronze, aged brass, and warm cove lighting turn up the opulence. Leather, velvet, and hits of saturated cobalt bring the tension. Organic modern at full volume. Elemental, moody, and made for real life. . . #interiordesign #interiordesigner #luxuryhomes #homestyling #homedecor #renovation #homerenovation #hometransformation Book a Design consultation https://www.phoenixgreydesign.com/ Follow Design Daddy on Socials TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mrphoenixgrey...
