Kieninger Longcase Clock Service - Episode 1

#clocks #clockrepair This is a German Kieninger longcase clock that needs servicing. It has a very strange clunking sound each time it chimes the Westminster Chimes. The movement is taken out of the case and placed on a test stand once the new Suspension Spring is installed. The clunking sound is very easily recognised once I start the movement. I explain how the movement is put in beat using the most unusual method that joins the Pendulum Leader to the Crutch.
