Rare Dunlop Rover Tomcat Turbo Race Car Takes on Castle Combe Circuit

In 1993 Rover produced 36 Rover 200 Turbos specifically to compete in a one make race series sponsored by Dunlop tyres, This is one of those 36 cars. The Dunlop Rover Tomcat Race Series was born and lasted two years. Dave Nixon races his Tomcat in the CTCRC and joined us for our Castle Combe trackday for a bit of pre-season fun. The car looks fantastic to drive considering its on Rainsport 3’s in the dry. Running 250bhp at 18psi the car goes well and looks the part out on track.
