Classic Trance Mix #21 | Golden Era Anthems 1999-2001 (Yomanda, Hi-Gate, Blank & Jones, Orion)

Dive straight into the golden era of trance music with this classic trance DJ mix, featuring late-90s and early-2000s club anthems that defined peak-time dancefloors across the UK and Europe. This mix captures that unmistakable uplifting, emotional, hands-in-the-air trance sound - driving basslines, epic breakdowns and euphoric melodies - from a time when records were built to take you on a journey, not just get a reaction. Featuring legendary tracks from Agnelli & Nelson, Orion, Mario Piu, Hi-Gate, Yomanda, Blank & Jones and Cosmic Gate, this set is a snapshot of trance at its most powerful, just before the sound evolved into harder and faster territory. Mixed with long blends, smooth phrasing and proper energy progression, this is how these records were designed to be played in clubs, not rushed, not chopped, just allowed to breathe and build. If you were clubbing around 1999–2001, this will hit hard. And if you’re discovering this era for the first time, this is essential listening. 💬 Which track defines classic trance for you?
