Do you remember the good old days when you were a child and had the Fisher Price Music Box Record Player and you would crank the plastic winder? When you did that out of that tiny speaker came a rendition of Camptown Races or London Bridge. No batteries, no electricity. Oh those were the days. Relive those days again with The Fisher Price Studio, a way of putting any midi file from ABBA to ZZ Top onto those little plastic records, and actually have it sound really good , albiet its still a music box player. In this video I take you through the necessary steps , from creating and having the program 'learn' the midi tune and transcribe it into what will work on your Fisher Price Music Box Record Player. The video is a little under two hours long, it has to be to show all of the stepos from creating the tune , to creating the scad file, to rendering and compiling the scad file into an STL, to coloring the disk in with my 3D coloring program, to actually setting up the printer to print the disk in four different colors. Want the programs that have been used to create this marvelous thing? Well its available soon. Russ Campbell
