We start this video with a freight pulling out of Inman yard. It has the NYC unit we saw this morning 2nd. It pulls up to the signal at the wye and stops. Will the NS morning transfer finally be allowed to leave the CSX wye? We wait. We fly around some more. And along comes a westbound NS auto rack. It's a short one. So who goes next? Finally the transfer gets the green and starts heading home. We follow it over to the middle of the wye before we have to change batteries. Then we're back up and following it the rest of the way. Once the transfer is out of the way the NYC unit is ready to pull this freight up the Greenville line. Is it NS 154? I don't know. These days it's harder to tell what goes where. There's not DPU on this one but it does have a Scale Test car on the rear so we follow along and get a look at that. An old N&W scale test car. Nice. After that we get another NS freight though this one is coming off the Greenville line. Is it NS 153? Don't know. No DPU on this one either. But wait! There's more! Another NS freight up the Greenville. Is it P51? Nope, it has a DPU on the rear, so likely this is the real NS 154. One of them might have been an extra 154. Sometimes you get two in one day. There was going to be an NS stack in this video but since we had a plethora of freights in the afternoon we're skipping the stack and going to yet another NS freight. This one isn't going north but south with two Green Machines. I don't have the batteries to follow them far and it's a very short train so it worked out perfectly. And that's it for this video. See you in the next!
