12 Most HATED Towns in Florida — #2 Will Genuinely Shock You

12 Most HATED Towns in Florida — #2 Will Genuinely Shock You Every state has towns people love to hate. Florida has more than most, and the jokes are always about the people who live there. But reputations don't come from nowhere. In this investigation, we count down 12 of Florida's most hated towns and look at who actually earned that reputation. A state school for boys where investigators found far more graves than the records showed. A river the state legally allowed to be polluted. A mountain of phosphate waste with a hole in it that the public didn't hear about for weeks. A sheriff who shot two handcuffed prisoners and kept his badge for two more decades. Farm fields where workers were held in slavery. And at number one, a town whose dead were burned and buried in mass graves, and which still breathes ash from the sugarcane fires every winter. Every claim in this video was fact-checked against court records, federal and state reports, Census data and news archives. ⏱️ Time Stamps: 0:00 – The graves nobody counted 0:37 – Who really earned the hate? 1:33 – #12 Opa-locka 4:24 – #11 Starke 7:11 – #10 Port St. Joe 9:52 – #9 Apalachicola 13:03 – #8 Perry 16:08 – #7 Mulberry 18:45 – #6 Arcadia 21:20 – #5 Ocoee 24:28 – #4 Groveland 27:12 – #3 Immokalee 30:04 – #2 Marianna 33:24 – #1 Belle Glade 37:08 – The question nobody asks 📊 Sources include the U.S. Department of Justice, the Supreme Court's 2021 ruling in Florida v.
