Capture of Gurunathan - Veerappan's Right-hand Man - by SI Shakeel Ahmed Narrated by ACP Ashok Kumar

In this episode of 'Real Attahasa' (TV9), Tiger Ashok Kumar narrates the story of the young daredevil cop Sub Inspector Shakeel Ahmed and how he posed as an arms supplier to infiltrate Veerappan's gang and capture Gurunathan in February 1992, and how Veerappan narrowly escaped the trap laid by Shakeel. According to Ashok Kumar, Shakeel Ahmed was the bravest police officer in the whole of Karnataka police. Six months later, Veerappan avenged Gurunathan's death by killing Shakeel and other police officials in an ambush at Boodigere Halla near Meenyam, Kollegal on the eve of Independence Day (August 14, 1992). Shakeel was aged 32 and a bachelor when he fell to the bullets of the Veerappan gang. ರಿಯಲ್ ಅಟ್ಟಾಹಾಸಾ' (ಟಿವಿ 9) ನ ಈ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಟೈಗರ್ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಡೇರಡೆವಿಲ್ ಕಾಪ್ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶಕೀಲ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಅವರು ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಾಂಗಿಯಾಗಿ ವೀರಪ್ಪನ್ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್‌ಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಲು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪೂರೈಕೆದಾರರಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಪೋಸ್ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಕೀಲ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಗುರುನಾಥನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ವೀರಪ್ಪನ್ ಹೇಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ. ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 1992 ದ ಈ ಘಟನೆ. ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳ ನಂತರ ವೀರಪ್ಪನ್ ಶಕೀಲ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇಡು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 14, 1992 ರಂದು ಮೀನ್ಯಂ ಬಳಿ ಶಕೀಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದ. ಹುತಾತ್ಮರಾದಾಗ ಶಕೀಲ್‌ಗೆ 32 ವರ್ಷ.
