The Last Caretaker | Update 06: The Jump - Official Trailer

The Last Caretaker | Update 6.0: The Jump Trailer Update 6.0: The Jump expands The Last Caretaker with PROJECT CROSSING, North Bastion, cold survival, new technology, new systems, and a major continuation of Anna’s story. The Transfer Gate inside Lazarus can now be activated, giving players their first registered destination beyond the familiar world. The update also includes another large round of performance improvements, fixes, and tuning. All very normal. Except the Transfer Gate has been standing there since the first version of the game. It was waiting. This is an uncomfortable property for architecture to have. On the other side is North Bastion. Anna recognizes the corridors. She knows things about the facility before you do. She remembers things she did not experience. This is also uncomfortable. You have heard Anna for perhaps 20 hours. Perhaps 50. Perhaps much longer. A voice becomes familiar very quickly. Humans are good at this. We hear a voice enough times and eventually there is someone on the other side of it. But what if there wasn't? Or there was. Or there was once. North Bastion contains machinery designed to answer questions like this because humanity apparently reached the end of civilization and still found time to make the situation philosophically worse. You should probably go there. Bring heat. The cold is real. Anna might be too. Update 6.0: The Jump The Gate is open. You wanted to know what was on the other side. That was your first mistake.
