This describes a trip from the town of Bayou Sorrel to the abandoned settlement of Bayou Chene in the Atchafalaya Basin. Only the antique marine Lockwood Ash engines were used. The 13 boats were all bateaux. The trip was organized by Mr. Ory Mendoza.
