Sanex 56” Ceiling Fan

Like the Cosmos ceiling fan from the previous video, airflow from this fan is pretty satisfactory, but that comes with the expense of extremely high running tempratures; more than 100°C at the motor windings plus high rates of wear & tear on the barely lubricated bearings. These fans are located in a food court that I believe don’t see that many customers. These fan have been here for awhile, but instead of being very dusty & having melted motor stickers, the blades are drooping at a pretty fast rate. That’s not something usually seen with these fans as most of them are used daily, but with these Sanex fans we get to know another weakness in cheap ceiling fans. Another thing which bugs me is how heavy & stiff the controller is to spin. Tolerances in the plastic moldings are so bad that everything rubs on everything, and that’s no good for a switch that is very prone to sparking due to bad contacts. The only thing I like about these fans is the shape of the stamped steel motor and that’s it. #CeilingFan
