Hello people of the earth realm, we're back after a short time which seems like an eternity. We bring you the first full cover of Sylosis's "After Lifeless Years" for the first time on YouTube. This is one of my most favourite melodic metal songs, blended with the elements from all genres of metal. Thrash riffs, Death metal chuggs and Power metal like solos, screams, growls and cleans for vocals alike. Sylosis is one of the most powerful bands I've ever heard in the modern metal genre and is thriving with better songs time after time. I decided to do this cover out of blue and it built up to something solid. The song talks about religion and how it affects one's mind, beliefs and perception, I felt really connected the first time I heard it and it still makes me want to mosh and bang my head when I hear it. Thanks a ton Akarsh Singh for helping me out on this one. I've recorded all the guitars, Rhythms left and right hard panned, harmony solos, main solo and bass. The drums were recorded partially via TM-2 module and also TD-11KV drum kit, used preset is from various libraries for individual tracks. And also I've recorded all the vocal parts you hear in this song. I've also written some of the harmonies that weren't in the actual song, and I've done a few improvisations over the solo (cuz yolo). This is the first song I've mastered with reference and it turned out pretty well, got louder than goddamn Sylosis itself. I know it lost a lot of dynamics on the way and is somewhat distorted but it's LOOOUUUDDD!!! YEEEAAAAA...
