Show Don't Hype: Agentic design with Palette, Zero and Gladia

Three founding designers from Palette, Zero, and Gladia shared their screens and showed how they design with AI agents every day. No slides, no hype: real setups, messy Figma files, and the parts that still need a human. It was a live online event on 27 October 2026. Show Don't Hype is a series of talks hosted by Seraina Silja Hürlimann from Palette. The panelist and their demos: 1. Søren Clausen, Founding Product Designer at Palette Instead of one-shot prototypes where the agent makes all the decisions, Søren uses a shared process folder that makes the agent think before it designs: problems, users, and scenarios first, then explorations in Figma, round by round. He makes every decision; the agent does the documenting. A feature that used to take a week took an hour and a half. 2. Niko Salkola, Founding Designer at Zero From tidy Figma specs to production code. Niko designed and built Zero's end-of-trial experience, a Spotify Wrapped-style recap, coding the front end himself with Claude Code and real customer numbers. Plus a launch-offer price tag with real physics, something nobody would ever write a spec for. 3. Farouk Tahri, Founding Brand Designer and Engineer at Gladia Everyone at Gladia can design. Farouk built Gladia Studio on a design MCP connected to the company's design system, with a live view of what the agents are doing and a pre-flight check against anti-AI-slop rules. Now the CEO, sales, and engineers make on-brand visuals and videos. The demos were followed by a fireside chat.
