Assalamu Alaikum. I’m MESHOR, and this is my daily documentary.
Today’s MESHOR Daily is about something simple yet profound: why people notice our mistakes more than our efforts, why perfection doesn't exist, and why self-control is one of the most vital foundations we must build.
The idea came from a very basic mistake. Imagine someone counting: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and then saying 48. Instantly, everyone notices the error—it should have been 50.
This happens constantly in life. You can put in consistent effort, work hard, and make genuine progress, but the moment you make one mistake, that slip-up becomes the main topic while the good work is forgotten.
Yet, the truth is that nothing in this world is perfect. The sun provides immense light and warmth, but it cannot offer the calm softness of the moon. The ocean is vast and deep, but its water is salty and undrinkable. Everything has strengths and limitations. If we spend our entire lives searching for a perfect person, relationship, environment, or life, we’ll search forever. Being imperfect simply means we are human.
I make mistakes. I have weaknesses. I know I cannot please everyone or maintain every relationship flawlessly, but my goal isn't to become perfect for others—it’s to become better than I was yesterday.
That brings me to today's core realization: self-control.
If I cannot control my own emotions, habits, attention, and time, how can I expect to manage a team, build a company, or lead a successful life? Motivation gets us started, but motivation fades. Beyond discipline, we need the self-control to keep going even when we don't feel like it.
On the work front, today was reasonably productive. I spent time developing an Amazon project I’ve been building. I’m focusing heavily on it because, if executed correctly, it has the potential to become a reliable passive income source. Some projects just require patience before showing results.
I think about my background a lot. Coming from a lower-middle-class family means resources, funding, and safety nets aren't readily available. Sometimes I think that if I had stronger financial backing, I could have scaled my skills into something bigger much faster. But dwelling on what I don't have won't change today. So I don't complain—I adapt and use whatever tools, skills, and opportunities I currently have.
I reinforce a specific mindset in myself: "I am aiming to be the best version of myself." Not because I believe I’m better than anyone else, but because constantly pushing myself to aim higher changes how I approach my daily struggles.
I want to build a life driven by discipline, confidence, and resilience—seeing opportunities instead of just limitations, and learning from mistakes rather than being broken by them.
That is what MESHOR Daily is really about. I’m not a teacher or a motivational speaker. I'm just an ordinary person documenting a real journey. There will be bad days, mistakes, and moments where I lose focus. But one mistake should never define the whole path.
My promise isn't to be perfect. My promise is to keep trying until the end—giving my best effort, learning, and striving to leave something meaningful behind, InshaAllah.
Please keep me in your prayers so I can stay focused, disciplined, and consistent.
This is MESHOR Daily.
Not a perfect life. Not a perfect person.
Just a real person trying to become better, one day at a time.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
