Land Rover Series - Electronic Ignition Conversion

Firstly, I should say this video is far from a "how to"- the instructions with the kit will tell you all you need to know (RTFM!) This video is more looking at trouble shooting after fitting and looking at the performance on the road. For a low cost kit I am pleased with the result - whilst tick over is only very slightly smoother, the engine is very much smoother at high revs where the points set up would start to "drift off". Much better for the overdrive, which required a decent amount of power for full effect. The timing was a little early to start with, so I just drove some hills and adjusted every so often until it sounded right - I will use a timing light when I have one to hand. Not a difficult job at all, long term reliability is as yet unknown but first impressions are good.
