Nene Valley to North Norfolk | 27th July 2025

A nice Sunday in Anglia as we take a train trip from West to East Anglia. We start off at Overton Ferry Meadows Station on the Nene Valley Railway in Cambridgeshire, by taking the heritage train hauled by a Class 45 Peak diesel locomotive with continental coaches to Peterborough Nene Valley, we then change at Peterborough Mainline Station for an EMR Class 158 train along the East Coast Mainline and Great Eastern Mainline to Norwich. And lastly we take a Greater Anglia Class 755 train along the Great Eastern Mainline and the Bittern Line from Norwich to Sheringham in Norfolk, where we see the coastal sea and heritage diesel trains on the North Norfolk Railway during their "Golden Years" event.
