In December 2022, we set off on an unforgettable early morning drive from Satara to Lower Sabie along route S126 in Kruger National Park. The soft dawn light and pleasant weather set the perfect mood for what turned into a truly magical encounter. We came across a massive herd of elephants—gentle giants moving gracefully through the wild with their young. For over an hour, we followed them quietly from our car, watching as they fed, guided their calves, and moved together in perfect harmony. At times, they came incredibly close, yet remained calm and aware of our presence. These peaceful moments remind us of the beauty of nature and the deep connection within wildlife.
