Naw Rúz, the Flourishing of Iran’s Ancient Culture, and the Advent of the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh

Naw-Rúz is a 3,000-year-old Iranian festival celebrated on the vernal equinox, marking the arrival of spring and the renewal of nature - the triumph of light over darkness. Yet in this dispensation, its meaning reaches far beyond the physical world. Naw-Rúz heralds a Divine Springtime, a sacred season of spiritual awakening and renewal. As the earth stirs and blossoms, so too does the human spirit, rising with fresh purpose, vitality, and light. It is a moment when both the visible and invisible are renewed - a true beginning, where the rebirth of nature reflects the inner transformation of the soul. Mozhan Khadem is President and a founding Principal of a Boston architectural design company. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois and a Master of City Planning from Harvard University.  His 35 years of experience include numerous award-winning projects in the United States and the Middle East.  Alongside his professional career, he has spent considerable time studying, as an avocation, the mystical poets of Iran and the 'irfání writings of the Bahá'í Faith.
