6.28.26 Exiles: Family of the Rejected

We live in a world that is constantly telling us who we are. Our identity is shaped by success or failure, our desires and opinions, and the approval or rejection of others. But what happens when those things let us down, or when we feel overlooked, unwanted, or rejected? This Sunday, we’ll explore 1 Peter 2:4-12, where Peter reminds us that Jesus himself was rejected by the world but chosen and precious to God. As we come to him, we discover our true identity as God’s chosen family, called to live with purpose and to shine as a witness of hope in the world.
