**Skip to 3:53 if you don’t want to watch dark footage** Back in October, I made a trip to North Myrtle Beach to film some CSLs from the city’s solid waste division. Always thought CSLs were so incredibly cool, and the barrel body style ones even cooler. So it was truly awesome being able to film one of these. There really aren’t a lot of CSLs in the southeast United States so I knew it would be worth the trip. Met at the yard in the morning with the drivers, and followed this guy through his route. Seeing these huge barrel shaped trucks maneuver through the city streets before dawn is truly a sight to see. Not a lot of newer trucks give of an old school vibe, but this one definitely did. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it out there again sometime, preferably in the summer when routes are longer and more trucks are used. Enjoy!
