What is a Toyota Probox? JDM nugget?

The Toyota Probox was built to be a basic commercial wagon – but these things have developed a pretty serious following in Japan and the wider JDM scene. This is our 2015 Probox. It has the 1.5L 1NZ petrol engine, automatic transmission and has travelled 175,000km. They're used as delivery vehicles, small business wagons and parts runners, but you'll also see them lowered, modified and used as track-day support cars. That's one of the reasons I bought this one – it's actually a pretty interesting car despite looking about as basic as a Toyota can get. For someone who doesn't need a massive van, there's a lot to like here too. It's compact, economical, has plenty of usable room and runs Toyota's well-known 1NZ engine.
