I'm a massive nerd so I have a spreadsheet for all of my books, and I'm also working on having my Goodreads impeccably organised too. I thought I'd show you my super spreadsheet of dreams and how I organise all my books digitally. Open the full description for a link to the spreadsheet so you can use it yourself!
Here's a link to the template that you can copy and make your own version: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
If you want to edit the dropdown lists in some of the cells, here's how:
1. Highlight the column that contains the dropdown list (or any column you want to add a list to).
2. Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on a Mac I guess?) and click on the title cell (e.g. "Format") to deselect it (so that cell doesn't become a dropdown list too).
3. Go to Data and then Data validation.
4. Next to "Criteria", select "List of items" from the dropdown list. In the box, type all the items you want in your dropdown list, separated by commas.
5. Click save.
