Dr. Michael Vivion 2026 Goddard Hall of Fame Honoree

Celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Michael J. Vivion, Goddard High School Class of 1962 and member of the Goddard Public Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Selected for the Hall of Fame prior to his passing, Dr. Vivion leaves behind a remarkable global legacy. A proud 1962 graduate of Goddard High School, he spent a lifetime advancing education, communication, and leadership. From serving as a Fulbright Scholar in Berlin and directing a nationally recognized writing program at UMKC to helping pharmaceutical scientists secure approval for over 50 life-changing medications worldwide, his career reflected a profound commitment to excellence. Guided by his favorite motto, "Only Connect," he spent his life bridging worlds and later gave back by leading elementary literacy programs. Though we mourn his passing just before this celebration, we proudly honor his extraordinary impact on students, scientists, and communities around the world. Brought to you by the Goddard Education Foundation.
