Take a quiet morning walk through Keihin Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kawasaki, Japan.
This short POV walking tour was filmed in 4K around 6 AM, when the shrine was almost completely empty. With no narration or background music, you can simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and explore the entire shrine grounds.
One of the most unique things about this Inari shrine is its 108 fox statues. In Japanese tradition, foxes are believed to be messengers of the Inari deity, and the statues here come in many different poses and expressions.
The shrine also features a large vermilion torii gate, a row of torii gates inspired by the famous Senbon Torii at Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, a small pond, and a miniature Mount Fuji made with lava from Mount Fuji.
Located in Kawasaki, between Tokyo and Yokohama, Keihin Fushimi Inari Shrine is a fascinating local spot that feels surprisingly peaceful despite being surrounded by the city.
