What do you do when you don't feel like praying, reading your Bible, or spending time with God? In today's Proverbs 31 Bible study, I share how I almost skipped recording a video—but when I sat down to reflect on Proverbs 31:14, God used an ordinary verse to bring a deeply personal connection to mind. Proverbs 31:14 describes the virtuous woman as being like merchant ships that bring food from afar. As I studied the verse, I began reflecting on my years as a nomad, my experiences before coming to Christ, and how God has been redeeming parts of my past in ways I never expected.
