Welcome to Washington! - PCT Week 17

We’ve made it to our third and final state on our PCT thru hike, Washington! Hiking down through Tunnel Falls, we were treated to views of mt. Saint Helens, mt. Rainier, and mt. Adams. We spent the night in Cascade Locks before crossing the Bridge of the Gods and officially entering Washington state. Our first day was an overcast and the forests seemed immediately lusher and greener than anything we’ve hiked through so far. We resupplied in Trout Lake and entered Goat Rocks Wilderness where the weather cleared up just in time for us to enjoy incredible views of Mt. Rainier on knife’s edge before heading into White Pass. Excited for everything WA has in store for us! Join us on our adventure exploring the epic Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). The PCT is an end to end trail which we will be thru-hiking for the next few months northbound. It starts on the border of Mexico and California and ends after roughly 2650 miles on the border of Washington and Canada.
