Dewalt Planer DW735 Dust Collection

Dust collection setup for Dewalt Planer DW735 with basic plumbing parts available at your box store run it into a shop vac without powering on the shop vac. Part list include the following: 2" - 2" flex coupling X2 2" 90 elbow 2" 45 turn 2" PVC Pipe @ 2.75" X2 2" PVC Pipe @ 3.25" This temporary solution performs well but the amount of wood shaving produced by the planer fills up the shop vac too quickly. The later part of the video show how to build a dust separator using a cyclone and a 20 gallon trash can. 2" - 1.5" flex coupling X2 2" PVC Pipe @ 2.25" X2 2" PVC Pipe @ 2.75 The top cyclone unit enable the use of can liner for ease remove is a plus. The trash can collapses slightly when a shop vac is connected to it. It is not a big issue because it doesn't seem to hinders the performance but rather annoying. I'll update the solution on overcoming this problem.
