CONTROL Resonant | Episode 9: EMPIRE AVENUE

The Oldest House was only the beginning. Welcome to my full playthrough of CONTROL Resonant. After experiencing the wonderfully strange world of Control, I’m heading back into Remedy’s universe, except this time the walls of the Oldest House can’t contain what’s happening. Manhattan is being torn apart by paranatural forces, Jesse Faden is missing, and Dylan Faden now finds himself at the center of a reality-bending crisis he was never exactly preparing for. And considering this is Remedy... I fully expect to understand absolutely everything... lol... As always, OBJGaming is a story-first channel before gaming, and few developers reward curiosity quite like Remedy. So I’ll be taking my time with the main story, environmental storytelling, documents, hidden encounters, side activities and whatever unexplained object inevitably makes me stare at the screen for five minutes trying to figure out what I just witnessed. The original Control gave us one of gaming’s strangest spaces. Resonant is taking that strangeness outside. With larger areas to explore, Dylan’s supernatural abilities and a Manhattan where reality itself seems to have misplaced the instruction manual, I’m incredibly curious to see how far Remedy is willing to push this world. Expect exploration. Expect me to read things that most sensible people would walk straight past. And expect the occasional moment where we collectively ask: What the hell is going on? 🎮 Full first-time playthrough 🌀 Story-first, exploratory pacing 📄 Lore, documents & environmental storytelling 🔻 Paranatural abilities, combat & exploration 🔎 Side content and hidden discoveries 🚫 No spoilers please Reality is breaking and naturally... we’re going in.
