Dor (Brazil) - Dança Soturna da Morte (Album 2025)

Debut full-length by this Brazilian Black Punk act that should be known for those attentive to the grea raw underground Black Punk scene of Brazil. A project featuring Pedro Alves of Fosso and Febre, joined by Victor Miranda and Leandro Furini, this full-length is perhaps the most Black Metal leaning release of the band to date. After 2 killer demos, na EP, a split and a Live Album, "Dança Soturna da Morte" condenses the sound of the band in perfection. Always characterized by the pulsating, rabid rhythms of Garage Punk, yet here with a much more emphasized elemento of Black Metal obscurity and Mystery with old school riffing and keyboard sound creating a more melancholic and murderous atmosphere. The result is, in my opinion, to Fosso's 2021 album, "Solo Amargo", yet definitely cleaner, janglier and with a bigger presence of Punk's fuck all atitude. Brilliant record, definitely some of the best Black Punk of the year. Recommended for fans of Calvary, Fosso, Fertilizer, Black Candle Wax, Invunche, Sexdrome, etc. Released digitally via the band's bandcamp page. Dor: https://dordor.bandcamp.com/album/dan...
