Double Rainbow at Sunrise from Tongue Point – Salt Creek Campground Day 2

What a magical experience this was – a double rainbow appearing as the sun rose over the Strait of Juan de Fuca! And we had the perfect vantage point for viewing both in opposite directions east and west, 180 degree+ view at Tongue Point overlook! Then to top it off, two families of racoons to entertain Skye, our Norwegian Elkhound, one family of four climbing up a very large Douglas fir tree on the bluff and a second family of five racoons feasting on crustaceans during low tide all happing at the same time as this meteorological phenomenon! Diane and I visit Salt Creek Recreation Area and Crescent Beach often, sometimes camping for a night or two in our Winnebago Travato 59kl, and we always have a wonderful time. But this time, it was phenomenally fantastical!
