Maynard Saddler – Families Don’t Live Like They Used To (Official Music Video)

Why it take a funeral fi bring everybody home? 🕊️ Everybody connected… but who you really close? “Families Don’t Live Like They Used To” — my third single, out October 23, 2026. I wrote this from memories of cousins, verandas, Sunday dinners, and Grandma’s table. Four cousins in one bed, fighting fi the sheet. Everybody finding room for everybody. Today, we see every picture and read every post—but when last we sit down and reason together? Built on a warm dancehall riddim, this song carries our language, our humor, and a call to reconnect. The video brings that message to life: a short film about what family used to feel like, and what it can feel like again. ❤️ Don’t just call when somebody gone. Celebrate each other while we’re living. Pre-save / listen: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/maynards... If this moved you, share it with your family. And tell me in the comments: what family tradition would you love to bring back? Mek family FEEL LIKE FAMILY AGAIN. 🙏🏾 Maynard Saddler | MaynardSaddler Music Jamaican-born. Florida-based.
