LISA STANSFIELD There Goes My Heart Again

A fresh recording of a song that was originally found as a new track on the re-issue of her 'Seven' album , 'There Goes My Heart (Again) is the opener of a deluxe edition on her 2018 opus 'Deeper'. and is pure Lisa Stansfield. Written by the singer with her husband Ian Devaney, this composition is one of my favorites of hers. This clips also celebrates 30 years of the British singer being in my world! I have always loved her distinct vocal; that blue eyed soul that she has always fostered and that sexy, often slinky vocal which has served her so well for all these years. Lisa has remained within her 'wheelhouse' for most of the 30 years she has been recording - a melding of pop with dance beats or R&B sensibilities. Occasionally she has explored torch songs and traditional pop, but she is clearly best known and loved for the pop gems she has recorded. For me it was love at first hear, back in early 1990, and I haven't stopped listening since! Her music brings immeasurable joy.
