A very spontaneous project really; three days ago I started transcribing it at 2:30 am, and then finished it the next day at noonish. I started recording that evening and by the end of the next day had it edited and ready for Andrew (youtube account: andrewkesler) to put together. [Andrew just put out a new video too! Sorry that I'm not looking at the camera really, I transcribed it pretty quickly and didn't have the words memorized, So I had to read it scattered all over my counter top. I used a apex 435 condenser mic (with a pop filter!), and ran it through a M-audio preusb. Did my recording in Garageband and my filming with my Canon Powershot digital camera.
