The Susquehannock Trail System is a series of forest trails that lead you across the lower portion of Potter County...also known as "God's Country". The trail swings around various forest settings with limited views, no waterfalls, and few camping areas. With that said...it is a very nice walk in the woods. If starting clock-wise (which is recommended)...you will have the easiest walking in the beginning. The trail begins to challenge after passing through Old Bull State Park. The southern section (which co- exists with the Donut Hole Trail) has the most serious drops and climbs....but the section after the town of Cross Fork has many ups and downs. Still...if you have the time...this is a great walk in the woods if that is the experience you are seeking. We took six days to complete the trail but you could definitely slow down (or speed up). My goal has always been to simply inspire you to come out and enjoy the outdoors without seeing much of my face...seeing only what I see and give you a "sneak preview" of what you can find. Thanks for viewing....Phil 4:13!
