Siemens SL42 Silver Unboxing 4K - Review - Full Pack with all accessories

Discover the MUSICAL Siemens SL42 full pack with all accessories, showing the menu, settings, apps and games. 📱 The Siemens SL42 is a mobile phone from Siemens, released in 2001. It was a cheaper alternative to the more popular SL45 and SL45i models. It came with a "smaller" package - NO included stereo headphones, only a mono headset for calls, NO desktop cradle and data cable, and a 16MB MMC card in the package (32MB with SL45 and SL45i). Unfortunately it uses Siemens proprietary headphone jack, but at least headphones for it can be obtained quite cheaply and easily and have some options. ✅ Hardware-wise, all three phones, the SL42, SL45, and SL45i, are absolutely identical, just with different firmwares. So it was very easy to load SL45i firmware onto SL45 and even SL42, and that way upgrade it (SL45i has support for JAVA ME/MIDP). Also, patches for the firmware were also available from the community, like, for example, a patch to support up to 2GB MMC cards (officially, support is only up to 1GB). 🏅 Maybe the biggest thing, the three phones are famous for, is the MP3 playback support. SL45 was first phone ever to have an MP3 player AND a memory card slot in one device (not to be mistaken for the first MP3 phone ever, this title goes to the Samsung SPH-M2100, but it has to rely only on its 32MB built-in memory). SL42 does not come with stereo headphones in the package, they must be obtained separately. Also, MP3 files can be played only on headphones, it does not play music over the speaker. The funny thing is that you can play music even with the included mono headset, but this is not very convenient since it is one speaker only.
