Study Abroad in Law School and Making an Impact

Law school doesn’t have to be limited to the classroom—or to following a traditional path after graduation. In this video, I talk about my experience studying abroad in Paris through Cornell Law School’s program at Panthéon-Sorbonne University and why I think law students should take advantage of opportunities to study abroad when they can. Being able to experience legal education in an international setting gave me a different perspective on what law school—and a legal education—can look like. I also talk about my documentary project, The Modern Backbone of Grundy: From Coal to Higher Education, and some of my thoughts about the future of Grundy, Virginia, and Appalachian School of Law.
