Before You Buy a Folding Electric Bike, Watch This

Before you buy a folding electric bike, make sure you understand what “portable” really means. Folding e-bikes can solve real transportation and storage problems—but compact doesn’t necessarily mean lightweight, comfortable, or easy to handle. I’m over 60, work part-time at a bike shop, and own a GoPowerBike Go City folding e-bike. In this video, I share what it’s actually like to fold, lift, transport, ride, and live with one. It isn’t my lightest or most comfortable bike, but it fits inside my minivan with my camping equipment and works perfectly as a fly-fishing shuttle. For someone else, a folding e-bike might solve a train commute, RV storage, apartment living, or the need to keep a bike safely indoors.
