Ottawa Drives - Old Barrhaven, Saturday October 8, 2026

It was a beautiful dinnertime drive through Old Barrhaven. The sun was shining brightly as we headed out for a drive through the neighbourhood, travelling a long and winding route through some of the familiar streets of Old Barrhaven and Nepean. Lets go for a drive!! There are a few moments during the drive when we head directly into the sun. The sunlight was actually much more intense from behind the windshield than it appears in the finished video. I considered removing some of those portions because they could easily have been viewed as overexposed or a little too bright. But I decided to leave them in. There was something about those moments that I really felt while I was driving, almost as though the energy of the sunlight was flowing into the car and into me. When I watched the video back, I could still see and feel something of that energy coming through the video, so I decided those moments belonged in the drive. This is a chance to spend some time on the road, enjoy the neighbourhood, and experience a beautiful sunny evening in Barrhaven.
