Our visit to Citrusdal was a delightful experience, with the scenic drive over the Olifants River providing a picturesque introduction to the region filled with vibrant orchards. While navigating the main road, we encountered charming landmarks like the old Anglican Church, a very neat sports facility, and a well-maintained hospital. Further exploration led us to the historic Dutch Reformed Church dating back to 1917 and the enchanting Sandveld Huisie. Our journey concluded with a visit to Modderfontein Farm, where the town’s roots trace back to 1725, providing us with a fascinating historical perspective.
