I vividly remember when Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was released in the same year as Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. Despite the tough competition, it became my favorite of the big three. The game’s unique blend of stealth, combat, and narrative depth really stood out. Interestingly, the development team collaborated closely with Vin Diesel, who not only voiced Riddick but also had significant input into the character's design and the story.
