In this video on Work Play Have Fun, I share the second workaround I found when LumaFusion kept crashing on export on my iPad Air (4th gen). I'd already made a video about my first fix — but this time, even that didn't work. After an hour and a half of failed 4K/60fps exports and "Export write error" messages, I stopped fighting the iPad and tried something different: export the whole LumaFusion project to a USB flash drive, carry it over to my Mac Mini, import it into LumaFusion there, and export from the Mac instead. It rendered in a couple of minutes, first time, no glitches. If you edit on an older iPad and your exports keep failing, this is a handy trick — as long as you've got a computer you can run LumaFusion on too. 🛠 What's covered in this video: • Why a complex multi-track 4K/60fps project can be too much for an older iPad • Reproducing the crash — both the normal export and LumaFusion's own "Optimise Project" version fail with an "Export write error" • The workaround (Option C): export the whole project as a LumaFusion project package to a USB flash drive • Choosing "trimmed media" for a smaller file, and the drive-format warning I ignored • Importing the project package into LumaFusion on the Mac Mini and exporting from there • Checking the finished file for artefacts and title glitches • Why I still choose LumaFusion over DaVinci Resolve on the iPad (the 4K/60fps hardware limit) • An honest aside — why I was stuck editing on the sofa that week (a gout attack) ▶ Watch Workaround 1 first — "LumaFusion Kept Crashing on Export — This 5-Step Workaround Fixed It":    • LumaFusion Kept Crashing on Export — This ...   📦 Equipment & apps used/mentioned (links coming soon): • Main Video Camera: Samsung S20 FE 5G Smartphone • iPad: iPad Air (4th Generation) • LumaFusion Version 5.4 • Apple Mac mini M2 + macOS 26.2 • DaVinci Resolve for macOS Version 20.3.1 (mentioned/compared — the iPad version is the one referenced in the video) • Samsung BAR Plus 128GB Type-A USB 3.1 Flash Drive • Novoo USB Hub Type C Multiport Adapter 🌐 Links: • Website: https://www.workplayhavefun.com • Work Play Have Fun:    / @workplayhavefun   • GitHub: https://github.com/workplayhavefun/wo... 💬 Question: Do you edit across more than one device? If your iPad exports keep failing, would you try the USB-to-Mac route — or just move the whole edit to a computer?
