With the boundless grace and divine blessings of our beloved Acharya, His Holiness Sri Sri Krishna Desika Jeeyar Swamiji, we are deeply blessed to present this devotional Kuchipudi dance offering by 5-year-old Moksha Ramanuja Dasi at the Sri Ranganatha Temple in Pomona, NY. This sacred occasion is filled with layered significance and gratitude. Moksha received her very first opportunity to dance on Sri Jayanthi exactly one year ago. Today, on this auspicious Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the day carries an even more profound blessing: it marks the 76th Tiru Nakshatram of our beloved Swamiji, who was born on September 4th on the divine appearance day of Bhagawan SriKrishna. Moksha was blessed to present two soulful pieces in tandem: Mānasa Sañcararē: The timeless composition of Avadhuta Saint Sri Sadasiva Brahmendra (set in Raga Sama), a prayer calling upon the wandering mind to dwell constantly on the lotus feet of Sri Krishna (Brahmani Sanchara Re), rendered through gentle rhythmic footwork and meditative Abhinaya. Krishna Bhajan: A devotional Krishna Bhajan originally immortalized by Tamil Nadu’s first superstar, M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavatar, in the landmark film Haridas (1944). Penned by the venerable Papanasam Sivan and tuned by 'Sangeetha Chakravarthy' G. Ramanathan, this evergreen melody continues to soothe the soul of every rasika with each rendition. A Tribute from a Young Disciple’s Heart: "Today is a truly magical and blessed day. Exactly 76 years ago, on September 4th, our beloved Swamiji was born on Sri Jayanthi, the appearance day of Lord Krishna. And today, on this exact same date, Sri Jayanthi is here again! For kids like me, having Swamiji in our lives is the greatest blessing. Because of his love and guidance, we don’t feel lost. He has opened up the beautiful path of Saranagati for us, showing that surrender and devotion aren't just for grown-ups—they are for kids, too. What inspires me most is that Swamiji doesn't just teach us the path of Saranagati—he lives it every single day. He is our true role model. By walking the talk, he shows us that true success in life comes from placing our trust completely in the Divine. Swamiji feels as close to us kids as he is to our dear Lord Krishna. He guides our footsteps, shapes our minds, and builds a strong future for our entire community with love, patience, and clear direction." We are endlessly fortunate to celebrate our Acharya’s Tiru Nakshatram on this holy Sri Jayanthi day at the abode of Lord Sri Ranganatha.
