Dig a Hole (original song)

Week 39 of 2026 for the r/songaweek subreddit. This week's theme was "Earth." © 2026 by Zach Brewster-Geisz. Be warned, it's a dark one. Lyrics below. Dig a hole In the ground Dig a hole In the ground Dig it deep Six feet deep For my love To sit and weep Shovel down Past the rocks Listen when Death, it knocks When she asks, Who's it for? Smile and Just ignore The voices say Put her away So smash her face And leave no trace Body so Frail and thin Dug the hole Push her in Cover her Dirt and leaves She is gone No one grieves But at night As I sleep I hear her Moan and weep Wake up cold Shake in fear She will be Always here With me
