USS Chosin (CG 65) Deployment from San Diego

USS Chosin (CG 65) Deployment from San Diego Watch the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG-65) depart from San Diego for deployment. Known as the "War Dragon," she is named in honor of the historic Battle of Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War. The Chosin recently made naval history right here off the coast by successfully demonstrating the Transferrable Reload At-sea Method (TRAM), allowing warships to reload their Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) while underway in the open ocean for the very first time.
