Hiking on glacier lagoon | Italy

ABOUT THE HIKE In 17 November 2024 I hiked to the amazing Italian Glacier Lagoon in the Valmalenco (SO). I started my hike at Alpe Gera Dam (2128m) to Rifugio Bignami (2401m) then I followed the Marson Glaciolocical Trail (C) until to the East Fellaria Glacier (2604m). After a short break at the glacier I returned to the Rifugio Bignami and took the path around the lake until I reached the Alpe Gembré (2220m), from there I took the detour to the Bivacco Anghileri-Rusconi (2660m). Finally I reached the Cima Fontana (3068) with a spectacular view of the Campomoro Valley, the peaks of Varuna, Palü, Zupò, and Vedretta di Fellaria.
